Who can use this

The program is designed for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on care needs and financial resources. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income under $7,304 and countable resources below $2,000 for individuals, $57,547 for couples, or $123,600 for couples when one is hospitalized or in a skilled nursing facility. Those exceeding resource limits may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the limits within a month of application. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate an unmet need for assistance with two or more daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring help with at least one daily living activity.
