About this resource
This program provides support to low-income Medicare recipients by covering their Medicare Part A and Part B premiums. Additionally, DSHS takes care of co-pays and deductibles for Medicare beneficiaries with very low income.
Intake Procedure: You can apply by calling, visiting the website, or going to any Community Service Office (CSO).
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are on Medicare and have an income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify for the most assistance. For Part B premium help, the income must be at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Level, while Part A premium assistance is available to individuals with disabilities earning up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
