The initiative supports youth facing homelessness by providing them with the means to thrive in their education through arranging transport to their previous school or helping them enroll in a nearby school without unnecessary delays.
Intake Procedure: Start by visiting the local school counselor or nurse, followed by contacting the district's homeless liaison.
Fees: There are no associated costs.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals include families or unaccompanied minors without a stable, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, such as those temporarily sharing housing, living in motels or camps, using unsuitable locations for sleeping, residing in emergency shelters or transitional housing, or awaiting foster care placement.
