About this resource
This initiative provides support to low-income, disabled individuals in Skagit County by connecting them with housing and essential resources such as hygiene supplies, transportation aid, rent and utility assistance, as well as case management services. Applicants must first apply at DSHS and must also meet the criteria for Coordinated Entry.
Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted in person at a DSHS Community Services Office, online via washingtonconnection.org, or by calling the DSHS Customer Service line. After DSHS assesses medical and financial eligibility, they will issue a referral to the regional HEN provider.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants are low-income adults in Skagit County who cannot work for at least 90 days due to a physical or mental condition and are not qualified for the Aged, Blind or Disabled cash assistance program, with eligibility confirmed by DSHS and Coordinated Entry requirements following DSHS approval.
