Offers financial support for prescription drug expenses to eligible low-income individuals who are enrolled in Medicare prescription drug coverage.

To qualify, income must not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and countable resources should be $14,100 or less for individuals and $28,150 or less for married couples living together. Exempt from countable resources are primary residences, life insurance policies, burial plots, vehicles in use, and certain distributions from Alaska Native corporations. Enrollment in a Medicare prescription drug plan (PDP), such as Medicare Part D or a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) that includes drug coverage, is required.
