About this resource
This program provides food benefits to help boost the income of residents in Washington state, including those who are legal immigrants. The amount of monthly benefits is determined by the household size, income, and living expenses. Vouchers are also issued to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview process. A Social Security number is required for everyone listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to receive assistance for food lost in the latest disaster.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- To qualify, individuals must live in Washington state and meet specific income, resource, and citizenship/alien status criteria, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
