This program provides job training that emphasizes the skills necessary for job searching, specifically designed for individuals recovering from substance use disorders or those with a history of incarceration. The course aims to address employment barriers through job search assistance, interview preparation, and résumé writing.
Intake Procedure: Referrals can come from case managers, therapists, corrections officers, or through self-referral. Interested individuals can apply by emailing, calling a local office, or visiting the website to fill out an online application.
Fees: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Individuals currently in a residential reentry program or participating in a Pioneer treatment or housing program are given priority. Applicants must meet specific criteria including having a criminal background or a history of substance use disorder, a desire to work, the ability to pass a urinalysis, and a willingness to adhere to classroom policies.
