Fees: Clients may need to pay a participation fee to access services, although those enrolled in WA Apple Health (Medicaid) may receive services without any fee.

Who can use this

The program is tailored for older adults and individuals with disabilities, with eligibility based on both care requirements and financial status. Generally, applicants must have a monthly income below $7,304 and countable resources (excluding their primary residence and transportation vehicle) that do not exceed: $2,000 for an individual, $57,547 for a couple, or $123,600 for a couple when one partner is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Applicants exceeding the resource limit may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the limit within a month of applying. Additionally, clients must demonstrate an unmet need for help with two or more daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with at least one daily activity.
