About this resource
This initiative offers housing support to eligible veterans and their family members, which includes assistance with rent, mortgage payments, shelter accommodations, and certain utilities like water and garbage, as well as limited food aid and resource referrals.
Intake Procedure: To initiate the process, download and fill out the Application form, then email it to tcveterans@co.thurston.wa.us to arrange an eligibility appointment and learn about the necessary documents to bring. Alternatively, you can contact the Veterans Assistance Program at 360-867-8236 to schedule your eligibility appointment and inquire about required documentation.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Applicants must qualify as a "Veteran" or "Family" as per RCW 73.08.005, have lived in Washington State for at least 6 months before applying, reside in Thurston County for a minimum of 31 days prior to application, meet income requirements, and provide necessary documentation to verify eligibility.
