About this resource
This initiative gathers blood from volunteer donors for use by patients in hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest. The donation process generally lasts less than an hour and involves a short health evaluation that checks blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and iron levels.
Intake Procedure: Donors can schedule an appointment by calling or using the online system. In-person donors will be served only after all scheduled donors have been accommodated.
Fees: There are no charges for donors.
Who can use this
- To donate, individuals must weigh at least 110 lbs., be 18 years or older, and fulfill donor screening criteria. Those aged 16 and 17 can donate with parental consent. Whole blood donations are permitted once every 56 days, with a maximum of six donations per year.
