About this resource
This initiative assists non-profit organizations and government agencies with their transportation requirements by offering passenger vans that can be reserved by eligible groups.
Intake Procedure: Interested parties can either call or fill out an application found on the website.
Fees: The cost is $1.01 per mile for each journey. Organizations that utilize the Community Vans must ensure their own drivers are insured. This insurance must encompass various liabilities, including contractual, products and completed operations, property damage, and employer's liability. Intercity Transit is responsible for the maintenance and insurance of the van.
