About this resource
The service provides one meal each day, which may be fresh or frozen based on the distance from the serving site. It caters to individuals aged 60 and above who are homebound and unable to cook. While a suggested donation of $4-$8 is encouraged, it is not mandatory. Those who do not meet the eligibility criteria can still obtain meals at the full price of $9.50 each.
Intake Procedure: To begin, call for an initial assessment, after which an assessor will visit the home to complete necessary paperwork with the client.
Who can use this
- Eligibility requires living in Thurston or Mason County, being 60 years or older, and being unable to cook or leave home unassisted.
