About this resource
This initiative provides nutritious food, nutrition education, and breastfeeding assistance to pregnant individuals, new parents, and children under the age of 5 who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level. Participants will receive monthly food benefits and have the opportunity to use seasonal vouchers at local farmers markets.
Application Process: Interested individuals should call to apply or obtain further information.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants include pregnant individuals, new parents who are breastfeeding or chestfeeding, infants, and children under 5 years old who are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level and have a nutrition risk, residing in the tribal communities of Chehalis, Nisqually, Skokomish, Squaxin Island, or Shoalwater Bay.
