About this resource
This program offers relocation support and coordination for mobile home owners who are forced to move due to park closures or changes in use. It provides financial aid of up to $11,000 for single-section homes and up to $17,000 for multi-section homes.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call to obtain information and an application package. Eligibility will be assessed after all necessary documents are submitted.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligible participants are low-income households earning below 80% of AMI, who own their manufactured or mobile homes and resided in a mobile home community before receiving notice of closure or conversion. Reimbursable relocation costs for community owners include expenses related to the demolition and disposal of the home, such as permits, asbestos testing, and utility disconnections, while costs for demolishing garages or sheds are not reimbursable.
