Who can use this

Generally, the applicant's monthly income should be less than $7,304, and countable resources must not exceed $2,000 for a single adult, $57,547 for a couple, or $123,600 for a couple when one is in a hospital or skilled nursing facility. Applicants exceeding the resource limit may still qualify if they anticipate meeting the limit within a month of applying. Additionally, clients must demonstrate an unmet need for help with at least two daily living activities or have a cognitive impairment requiring assistance with one daily living activity.
