About this resource
This program provides financial support to low-income families, immigrants, refugees, pregnant women, and individuals who are elderly, blind, or disabled. The available programs include TANF/WorkFirst, AREN, Diversion Cash Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, and ABD.
To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the application is submitted, DSHS will send a letter outlining the interview process. Those needing urgent financial help should consult their case manager. Additionally, the phone service features a callback option (virtual hold), allowing callers to enter their phone number and receive a return call when it's their turn.
