About this resource
This program provides support to low-income Medicare recipients by covering their Medicare Part A and Part B premiums. Additionally, DSHS also takes care of co-pays and deductibles for very low-income beneficiaries.
To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO).
There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who are on Medicare and have an income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level qualify for maximum assistance; those needing help only with Part B premiums must be at or below 135%, while Part A assistance is available for disabled individuals at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
