About this resource
This initiative aids Washington state residents, including legal immigrants, by offering food benefits to enhance their income. The monthly benefit amounts are determined by the household size, income level, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost during significant disasters.
Application Process: Interested individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for all individuals listed on the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to claim replacement for food lost due to the latest disaster.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who satisfy the income, resource, and citizenship or alien status criteria are eligible, with income capped at 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
