About this resource
This program aids individuals receiving DSHS public assistance in obtaining a Washington State ID card at a reduced fee from the Department of Licensing. Case workers at DSHS will assist clients in completing a form that can be presented at DOL to secure a card for just $5.
Intake Procedure: Contact or visit any Community Service Office.
Fees: ID Card: $5.
Who can use this
- Individuals receiving public assistance from DSHS, including both financial and food assistance, are eligible. Those under 25 without a permanent address can confirm their eligibility at the time of ID issuance without needing a DSHS letter.
