This initiative supports parents by giving referrals for the identification, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of children with special needs.

Intake Process: To start, call to schedule an appointment with the county coordinator for an interview and evaluation. If you need financial assistance, a separate application is necessary, so inquire for more information during your call. Referrals can be submitted by families, educational institutions, healthcare providers, or anyone involved with the family. You may contact the CYSHCN coordinator or send records/referrals via fax to 509-524-2678.

Cost: There are no fees; all services are provided at no charge to families, regardless of their income level.
