Intake Procedure: BIRTH CERTIFICATES: You can obtain a Washington State Birth Certificate from any county in the state or from the Washington Department of Health (DOH). For records dated from July 1, 1907, to the present, orders can be placed through the Center for Health Statistics: http://www.doh.wa.gov/LicensesPermitsandCertificates/BirthDeathMarriageandDivorce/OrderCertificates or through the Walla Walla County Department of Community Health. For records prior to July 1, 1907 in Walla Walla County, please reach out to the Washington Eastern Regional Archives Office: http://www.secstate.wa.gov/archives/archives_eastern.aspx. DEATH CERTIFICATES: For records from May 1, 2013, onward, contact the Walla Walla County Department of Community Health, as death certificates are issued daily.
