About this resource
This initiative provides guidance for homebuyers before purchase, financial assistance for down payments, and lower prices for those seeking to buy a home. It keeps ownership of the land to maintain affordability of the house. There is a waitlist that can extend up to two years.
Intake Procedure: Contact for further details. The waitlist is approximately two years long.
Fees: A minimum cash contribution of 1% of the purchase price or $2,500, whichever is higher, is required.
Who can use this
- Applicants must not currently own a home and should not have owned one in the past three years, with a gross household income at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI) based on household size, a minimum credit score of 620, and must occupy the home as a primary residence for at least nine months each year.
