Offers guidance and limited legal representation in court for low-income renters, including mobile home owners.
Intake Process: This is a drop-in service. Attendees should come to the second floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse at 12:30 p.m. on any Friday when there is a court eviction calendar scheduled (most Fridays).
Cost: Free of charge.
Who can use this
- Applicants must reside in Whatcom County and have an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level; this service is specifically for renters.
