• To qualify, income must not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), and countable resources should be $14,100 or less for individuals and $28,150 or less for married couples living together. Certain assets, including primary residences, life insurance policies, burial plots, vehicles in use, and specific distributions from Alaskan Native corporations, are excluded from countable resources. Enrollment in a Medicare prescription drug plan (PDP), such as Medicare Part D or a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) that provides prescription coverage, is required.
