About this resource
The program provides HEN clients with essential items like toiletries, toothpaste, shampoo, laundry/dish soap, and bus passes. Additionally, it can offer financial support for rent, utilities, and move-in costs, depending on available funding. Clients must first apply through DSHS.
Intake Process: Clients are required to either call or visit in person for assistance.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this service.
Who can use this
- Only clients confirmed by DSHS as eligible for HEN can receive assistance; while financial aid is not guaranteed, all clients qualify for essential needs support.
