About this resource
This initiative provides financial support to low-income families, immigrants, refugees, pregnant women, and those who are elderly, blind, or disabled. The available programs include TANF/WorkFirst, AREN, Diversion Cash Assistance, Refugee Cash Assistance, and ABD.
Intake Process: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, a letter will be sent outlining the interview requirements. Applicants must provide a Social Security number for everyone included in the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to receive assistance for food lost in the most recent disaster.
Fees: There are no fees associated with the application.
Who can use this
- Eligible individuals must reside in Washington state and meet specific income, resource, and citizenship/alien status criteria, with income not exceeding 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
