About this resource
This program assists Washington state residents, including those with legal immigration status, by offering food benefits to help supplement their income. The monthly benefit amounts depend on the household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers to compensate for food lost during significant disasters.
To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO) to get an application. Once the online or paper application is submitted, applicants will receive a letter outlining the interview requirements. It's necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person included in the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to receive assistance for food lost in the latest disaster.
There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Residents of Washington state who fulfill the criteria for income, resources, and citizenship or alien status, with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
