Intake Process: To apply, you can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Service Office (CSO). Once your application, whether online or on paper, is submitted, DSHS will provide a letter detailing the interview process. Clients requiring urgent financial help should consult their case manager. Additionally, the phone service includes a callback option (virtual hold) allowing callers to enter their number and receive a call back when it’s their turn. Callers might interact with multiple representatives, starting with a navigator who will assess the situation to determine the best way to assist.
