This program oversees and implements the building, mechanical, plumbing, and fire code regulations in Yakima County to protect public safety and welfare.
Intake Process: Go to the designated location and request to meet with a Project Coordinator. They will assist in determining which applications are necessary for your project, provide application materials, and clarify any questions regarding the application requirements. If necessary, they will involve additional professional staff to support the process.
Fees: There is a fee for submitting applications. Please call for further details.
Who can use this
- The project site must be situated in unincorporated Yakima County, including areas like Grandview, Harrah, Mabton, Toppenish, Sunnyside, Union Gap, Wapato, and Zillah, and most permit applications generally require both building and site plans.
