About this resource
This initiative provides subsidized housing and public housing for farm workers, veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities across various sites in Yakima County. Additionally, it offers Section 8 vouchers for those who qualify based on income.
Application Process: To apply, visit www.yakimahousing.org where you can complete an application. A local office is available with computer access for those without personal devices. For help with the application, call 509.508.0176 to arrange an appointment.
Rental Fees: The rents are determined based on income levels, ensuring affordability and compliance with income restrictions.
Who can use this
- Applicants must fulfill HUD income and eligibility criteria, as well as the requirements set by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC), which includes stipulations for income levels and leasing percentages.
