About this resource
Yakima Transit provides fixed route transportation within the city, operating ten routes from Monday to Friday and nine routes on Saturdays.
Intake Procedure: Reach out to transit for required forms.
Fees: Youth aged 18 and under can ride for free on Yakima Transit's fixed route, Dial-A-Ride, or the Yakima-Ellensburg Commuter by presenting a school ID, a valid government-issued ID, a birth certificate, or a free Yakima Transit Youth Rider Card that confirms their age. Those who are 18 or younger and wish to utilize the Dial-A-Ride service must undergo pre-qualification. For current fees, please call or check the website.
Who can use this
- To qualify for reduced bus passes, individuals must be at least 62 years old or have a disability verified by a physician.
