The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) aims to enhance the health of income-eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children under the age of 5. The program offers an eWIC debit card for purchasing nutritious foods, personalized nutrition guidance, referrals to community services, and breastfeeding support, which includes access to breast pumps, supplies, lactation experts, peer counselors, and support groups. To enroll, individuals should visit coloradowic.gov/find-wic-clinic to schedule an appointment or submit an online referral form at healthinformatics.dphe.state.co.us/WICSignUp. A WIC representative will reach out within 10 days to determine eligibility and assist with appointment scheduling.
