The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) focuses on promoting the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children under the age of five by providing: an eWIC debit card for purchasing nutritious foods, tailored nutrition guidance, referrals to community services, and breastfeeding assistance, which includes access to breast pumps, lactation specialists, peer counseling, support groups, and classes.
To apply, individuals can schedule an appointment with a local clinic through the link: coloradowic.gov/find-wic-clinic, or submit an online referral form at healthinformatics.dphe.state.co.us/WICSignUp.
