The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) aims to promote the well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children under the age of 5. It offers an eWIC debit card for purchasing healthy foods, personalized nutritional guidance, referrals to community services, and breastfeeding support, which includes access to breast pumps, supplies, lactation experts, peer counselors, and support groups.
Intake Procedure: To schedule an appointment with a local clinic, visit coloradowic.gov/find-wic-clinic. Alternatively, clients can fill out an online referral form at healthinformatics.dphe.state.co.us/WICSignUp. A WIC representative will reach out within 10 days to determine eligibility and assist in scheduling an appointment.

- To be eligible, individuals must reside in Colorado, meet specific income criteria, and be either pregnant, breastfeeding, or have recently given birth.

- Must provide: Identification for all family members applying for WIC Proof of address Proof of participation in Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations), or proof of income (e.g. paystub, tax return, letter from employer) Baby's growth measurements (height and weight) and hemoglobin levels. Growth measurements must be within the last 60 days
