The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is designed to support the health of eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children under the age of 5. The program provides an eWIC debit card for purchasing nutritious foods, tailored nutrition advice, referrals to community services, and breastfeeding assistance, which includes access to breast pumps, lactation specialists, peer counseling, support groups, and classes.
To apply, individuals should schedule an appointment with a local clinic by visiting coloradowic.gov/find-wic-clinic. Alternatively, they can fill out an online referral form at healthinformatics.dphe.state.co.us/WICSignUp. A WIC representative will reach out within 10 days to determine eligibility and arrange an appointment.

- To qualify, individuals must reside in Colorado, meet specified income criteria, and be either currently pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding.

- Must provide: Identification for all family members applying for WIC Proof of address Proof of participation in Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations), or proof of income (e.g. paystub, tax return, letter from employer) Baby's growth measurements (height and weight) and hemoglobin levels. Growth measurements must be within the last 60 days.
