Clark County Juvenile Justice Services

This facility serves as a temporary, secure holding space for juveniles between the ages of 8 and 18 who are facing allegations that fall under the Court's jurisdiction, providing a controlled setting for their protection and that of the public while legal matters are being resolved. The Juvenile Detention Division, which is the largest within the Department of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS), can accommodate up to one hundred ninety-two (192) youth and offers various services aimed at fostering the physical, emotional, and social development of the juveniles.
