Boise Girls Academy / Teen Challenge

Boise Girls Academy provides assistance to a maximum of 20 teenage girls, aged 13-17, who exhibit a range of at-risk behaviors. Our goal is to guide these young women in making healthier decisions while fostering self-worth and respect for their families and others. We are a licensed therapeutic boarding school in Idaho and have affiliations with Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge centers, as well as accreditation from Teen Challenge USA. We aim to act as an "early intervention" to prevent future regrets stemming from poor choices made in adolescence. The program lasts for 15 months, with enrollment available year-round. We utilize an interactive online curriculum from Alpha Omega Academy, which is accredited by AdvancED. Each student follows a tailored curriculum that includes both core subjects and electives, supported by certified teachers who assist with their academic progress. Ensuring that our students can continue their education is a priority. Additionally, we provide counseling services through our licensed counselor, therapeutic programs, and group sessions. Parental involvement is encouraged through regular communication, letter exchanges, and Parent Weekends held every other month. Our program includes scheduled physical activities via a local gym membership, leisure time, and various special events throughout the year. We also attend off-campus church services twice a week and hold chapel services on campus. Languages offered: English.
