About this resource
The Idaho State Independent Living Council (SILC) champions equal opportunity, access, self-determination, independence, and choice for individuals with disabilities. Its mission is to enhance opportunities and integrate people with disabilities into all areas of life through empowerment. The Idaho SILC offers leadership development programs aimed at empowering grassroots advocates, who will then work towards systemic changes in public policy to benefit those with disabilities.
