The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research critical to the state's growth. Some of the available programs include 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), Garden and Landscape Management, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, First Aid and Safety Programs focused on small business operations, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Water Quality Testing, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, Livestock Programs, and Range Management.
