About this resource
The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When required, it offers suitable services to meet family needs. This Program assesses and determines incidents of child abuse, which may involve evaluating family members and/or the child who has been abused. It facilitates access to counseling for the victim, parents, the abuser, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the Program licenses foster homes and offers some adoption services. This initiative is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Available languages include English.
