Members of the Coeur d'Alene tribe can utilize health services at this all-encompassing healthcare facility, which offers medical, dental, counseling, and outreach services. These services are accessible to any resident within a four-county region of North Idaho (Latah, Kootenai, Benewah, and Shoshone counties) and Eastern Washington, provided their income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The facility operates on a sliding fee scale. Additionally, it offers education on breast and cervical cancer, with mammograms referred to Coeur d'Alene. The Benewah Medical Clinic has nurses who visit diabetic patients to provide education on diabetes management and blood glucose monitoring, along with a glucometer program that offers training and insights on blood sugar levels. Diabetic patients also receive guidance on foot and eye care, with resources available in Braille and large print. Parenting classes, including the Positive Parenting model and Parenting as Prevention model, are offered, featuring informal support groups for parents and on-site childcare. Services are provided in English.
