LIFE embodies and implements the independent living philosophy by ensuring consumer control over decision-making, service delivery, management, and policy formulation. It encourages self-help and self-advocacy, fosters the development of peer relationships and role models, and guarantees equal access for individuals with disabilities to societal services, programs, activities, resources, and facilities. LIFE, INC. provides support across 19 southeastern counties, offering various resources to help individuals with disabilities enhance or maintain their independence within their homes, families, and communities.
