About this resource
The Victim Advocate Services Team (V.A.S.T.) delivers advocacy and round-the-clock crisis intervention for victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. The services provided include: *Transportation to a nearby emergency shelter or medical facility. *Assistance with filing Civil Protection Order Restraining. *Support during civil court proceedings. *Education on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. *Safety Planning. Additionally, we serve as intermediaries between victims and law enforcement, prosecutors, probation officers, and court staff. Remember, it should never hurt to go home! Available languages: English and Spanish.
