The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapeutic services, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, and shares information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program, which serves children from birth to three years old with developmental delays, offers therapeutic, educational, and supportive services at no cost to families. This program also facilitates the transition of services to school districts when the child turns three. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program supports individuals with developmental disabilities through court-ordered guardianship, commitment, competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development.
