Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program aims to cater to the requirements of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. It provides services such as evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it offers various therapies, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services for families with infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to help them achieve their fullest potential. These Early Intervention Services are tailored to address both the child's developmental needs and the family's requirements to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists who specialize in assisting children in learning to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage more fully in their family's daily routines. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible if needed.
