Vacant - Early Intervention Specialist. The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Offerings include evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy are available, along with information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program offers early intervention services to assist families in helping their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) achieve their fullest potential. These services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's needs to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage more fully in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
