The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides comprehensive services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers various therapies such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services aimed at assisting families with infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) in reaching their developmental milestones. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in aiding children in communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and engaging in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, offering services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which provides services in English and can access interpreters if needed.
