About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho through various services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's progress. Offered programs include 4-H, Weed Control Programs, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden/Landscape Management, Youth at Risk Programs, Crops/Horticulture Programs, small business support, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, and Pesticide Applicator Training. Most services related to Agriculture and Horticulture are provided at no cost, except for soil testing, which incurs shipping and lab fees. Services are available in English.
