About this resource
The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho is dedicated to supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through various services, programs, and research vital for the state's growth. Among the offerings are: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden/Landscape Management Programs, Youth at Risk Programs, Crops/Horticulture Programs, small business development, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, and Pesticide Applicator Training. Most services related to Agriculture and Horticulture are provided at no cost, except for soil testing, which incurs shipping and lab fees. Services are available in English.
