The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural communities through a variety of services, programs, and research initiatives that contribute significantly to the state's growth. Offered programs include: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Family and Consumer Services, Garden and Landscape Management, Family Resource Management, Crops and Horticulture Programs, small business operation and startup assistance, Money Management and Household Budgeting, Life Skills training, Water Quality Testing, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, and Farm and Ranch Business Management.
